So yesterday during the individual debriefing thing, we talked about parasites living in the human body. Think it might be pretty cool to blog about it!

NUMBER1.
THE HUMAN BOTFLY.
So this is what the bot fly larva looks like. Basically they live in your skin, feeding on your skin until they become adult bot flies and fly off. But most people can't wait that long, because you can feel the bot fly moving in your skin, you can hear them if they are somewhere near your ear. You can get a bot fly larva in your skin through mosquito bites actually. When the mosquito bites you, they implant the eggs in your skin and then the larva starts to grow in your skin. So far all the people who have gotten the bot fly larva developing in their skin all went to this place called Belize. Don't know where that is. All I know is I'm never going there. HAHA!

I don't know if it's tape worms or what, but it seriously disgusted me! HAHAHA.
Mom told me that this kinda things happen a lot in China cause the tap water there isn't clean, so then you can get tape worms if you drink the dirty water. & then at night you feel worms down there. EWWW.

HOOK WORMS.
You can get it just from a cat scratch! EWWWWW. OMG.
NUMBER 4:
MOSQUITOS!
I never thought malaria could be that serious. Really. I thought it was just, orh okay malaria, go see doctor can already, Oh how wrong was I.
NUMBER 5:
YOU CANT GET THIS FROM SANDFLIES! OMG OBS!
I had so many sand flies bites when I went to OBS. What if I'm infected?! :O

She got this just from eating pork! OMG I DON'T WANNA EAT PORK ANYMORE.
